WCDMA version of the Zopo ZP980+ with updated 14 mega-pixel camera coming soon


Zopo are back to work after the Chinese Spring Festival and their first order of business is to being the pre-sale page for the WCDMA version of the octacore Zopo ZP980+.

The Zopo ZP980+, named in China as the Zopo C2 Small Black 2A, is an octacore Android smartphone based on the popular Zopo ZP980 which led the Zopo range last year. The WCDMA version of the Zopo ZP980+ is of special interest as it receives an updated 14 mega-pixel rear censor along with the 1.7Ghz octoacore chipset, 2GB RAM, and 5-inch 1920 x 1080 ultra-sensitive display.

Presales for the Zopo Small Black 2A octacore have already started in China, the phone will go on sale soon at 1999 Yuan ($320).

    It should be Zopo ZP980+, not ZP998+. C2 is the same as ZP980.

    If you dont need 2GB of RAM and need better price go to ETOTALK 🙂 price 239,99USD for 32GB ROM, 8 core and same specs…nice phone, but the baterry 🙁

      No, because they force you to use paid shipping services. That’s okay if you already planned to, but just as a note to anyone who doesn’t mind availing of free shipping on many of the websites out there.

      I’ve also got the mtk6592 ZP980+ 1GB/32GB with wcdma 900/1900/2100mhz….since mid January.
      I grabbed it from Geekbuying and reviewed it on ArmTVtech.

        Well the article states the release of WCDMA version and the current version already supports 900/1900/2100MHz 3G. 🙂

      i have it also. but it is 1GB RAM and 16GB ROM.

    I got the Zopo 980+ octa a couple of weeks ago, and although it has stellar battery management compared to my previous b92m and lovely screen, it has 2 major problems. 1 Keyboard disapears when using internet browsers, firefox, chrome, and less often on Opera. 2. It suffers from Phantom clicks. When using skype it clicks on things without me touching the screen. a third problem is that skype rarely works ok. Usually it crashes and returns me on the home screen.

    seriously dissapointed in Zopo…
