OPPO Find 7 India launch due tomorrow

oppo find 7 review

OPPO India is all set to showcase their premier smartphone, the OPPO Find 7 in India tomorrow, i.e., June 11th.

The device was initially released in China in March, with two variants – one with a 1080p display and 2GB RAM (Find 7a), and the other with a 2560 x 1440p display and 3GB RAM (Find 7). It isn’t clear yet as to which models OPPO will launch in India tomorrow, but we think it would be safe to assume that it’ll only be the Find 7a aka the 1080p version. You can head over to the specs discussion to know more about the device’s internals.

Gizchina News of the week

OPPO marked foray in the Indian market in January, when they roped in top Bollywood stars in Hritik Roshan and Sonam Kapoor as their brand ambassadors. The company has released a handful devices since, the most popular among which still remains to be the OPPO N1 phablet.

future

Again, there’s no word on pricing as yet, but considering the $500 price tag the Find 7a carries in international markets, we expect the device to be priced around the 30,000 INR mark. This will perhaps make the Find 7a a direct competitor to the Gionee Elife E7, a device which has managed to secure quite a section of the audience in India.

Do you think the Find 7a would be a good deal at around 30,000 INR? I certainly do, especially considering the interesting camera hardware, and the handy fast charging capabilities the Find 7a comes with.

If the Future is coming in a day then it better be Find 7 and not 7a!

Hey Andi, you’ve got a link to this? Their Indian website has not listed anything so far (http://oppomobile.in/)

I’m officially withdrawing Oppo’s credit for making a 2K phone. (I can do that, right?)

The Find 7 doesn’t count if they never ship it.
