Uhh a 2.700 Battery that’s a drawback in expectation. Love my find5 but would like to see more sustainable battery in find7.

You can use at least two batteries 😀

Broken promises. This device it’s not only uninteresting, but it damages the companies integrity to promise a 2k device and device a 1080p one instead.

You asked if this would be my next phone? Absolutely NOT!

Failed on the screen. Failed on the battery. Failed on the OS. And no mention of WHICH LTE bands, or how many, they will support! Even One Plus had enough sense to announce which LTE bands they are going to include.

    This is a huge disappointment.

is this your first phone you took in option because of rumors?

because every phone which came in rumors was a huge dissapointment at first glance.. it’s because people hope for too much, you have to lower your standarts^

i also was hugely dissapointed in the galaxy nexus and nexus 4 on first glance, but on second thought, those devices are stunning for what they are

There will be a 2K version also (as mentioned in this article). As Oppo Internailnal have actually confirmed 2K in the past this would lead us to believe that it will be an international model with better 4G LTE support. The battery is replacable which is better than a lot of other flaghip phones, Android 4.3 will be the ColourOS version, Cyanogenmod and all the other 3rd party roms will also be available.

Will it be my next phone? Nope, although I love the N1, I much designs from other brands at the moment.

      • February 21, 2014

Andi, I’m not a sure as you are that there will be a 2k version. I know that they’ve said there would be in the past, but this smells more like a mid-stream design change than having 2 confusing versions of a phone with the same name.

Unlike Samsung, Oppo had never had multiple SKUs for the same product, and I can’t imagine them starting this bad practice now.

Perhaps you should call your contact at Oppo and officially confirm some of these rumors. The secrets are out already, so they might as well clear up the confusion. Any wild speculation at this point is surely going to be bad for the company, since people will be expecting something (with months of rumors to back it up) and getting a device that is a LOT less.

Their only way to manage expectations is to provide actual facts.

    February 22, 2014

Disappointed. For a phone that is almost 1cm thick it packs a measly 2700mAh battery hardly an upgrade to the Find 5 especially when you consider the increase in screen size!

What happened to the rumours of it having a beastly 4000mAh battery??
