Lenovo octacore with MT6595 LTE receives network license

Bets might be off as to who will launch the first MT6595 LTE smartphones as Lenovo sneaks a new phone through its network license approval.

This afternoon a mystery Lenovo phone, codenamed the Lenovo A808T, received network approval. The phone is listing has being an octacore model running at 1.7Ghz with LTE support, meaning that it either has a slightly modified version of the MT6592 SoC or the all new MT6595.

The phone will be aimed at the mid-range and features a 5-inch 720p display, 2GB RAM, Android 4.4.2 Kitkat,, 13 mega-pixel rear camera and 5 mega-pixel front. Network support for GSM, TD-SDCMA and TD-LTE will be included.

Source believe the Lenovo A808T could cost as little as 1500 Yuan once it goes on sale.

    i bet it’s just a 6592 with lte chip, but i keenly wait for a phone with 5.5-5.7″ and 6595chip.
