64GB, 3GB RAM Xiaomi Mi4 coming soon!

xiaomi mi4

Xiaomi have been fast off the mark with the Xiaomi Mi4, with some customers already receiving their phones, however these are a little different from the feature packed 64GB models coming later this month.

Chinese customers and some international resellers are already getting their Xiaomi Mi4 phones, but these first versions are the 16GB memory and 2GB  3GB RAM, the real ‘flagship’ model won’t be launching to mid way through this month and has just received its network license.

Gizchina News of the week

Passing through TENAA this morning is the 64GB version of the Xiaomi Mi4 which has 3GB RAM. According to the TENAA listings the phone supports WCDMA and GSM, there is still no mention of 4G LTE that was announced during the phone launch a few weeks ago.

From what we have heard from source who already have the Xiaomi Mi4, the device is beautifully made and “is simply one of the best phones on the market”. We will be reviewing the Mi4 very soon so keep posted for our views of the phone.

The 64GB Xiaomi Mi4 will go on sale in China on the 12th August.

Eagerly waiting for the review as we all know there has not been any drastic changes made MI4 in comparison to MI3. So it will be interesting to know what improvements have been made in build area and user experience.

    Supported russian 4g lte?

No. Actually, the FDD-LTE version is expected to be announced later in September, this year, and it will be compatible with European LTE. I am also craving for it. The actual model is only TDD-LTE, and will only work in China, as far as I know.

Hi there, I am wondering if someone can help me in my choice. I am willing to buy a new phone and the MI4 looks really great but it doesn’t have FDD-LTE for Europe. I heard that this version will be available at the end of the year or maybe further (who knows…). Moreover it is not sure that it will support all the European frequencies. The dilemma is the following, should I go for the Xiaomi MI4 64GB WCDMA version or Nubia Z7 Mini (FDD-LTE Dual Sim) or Huawei Honor 6 (Micro SD extension, Dual Sim)? Thanks in advance for your help. Same dilemma. All in all, I think the Honor 6 has everything…It’s just the Xiaomi is so damned pretty. I really need a new phone now though. So, can’t afford to wait until Dec on the off chance they decide to release a FDD version
