Save $15 on the Huawei Honor 6

With demand for the Xiaomi Mi4 on the up, some customers are looking for an alternative. The Huawei Honor 6 is a good one and an even better prospect now it has $15 off.

Like the Xiaomi Mi4 the Huawei Honor 6 is a 2014 flagship, and like the new Xiaomi it isn’t officially available outside of China. Fortunately resellers have been kind enough to fix that problem by building up stocks and offering them through their own channels.

The Huawei Honor 6 is quite an interesting alternative to the Mi4, or even the OnePlus One. It has a 5-inch 1920 x 1080 display, 3GB RAM, 3100mAh battery and Android 4.4. Unique features to the Huawei phone include an octacore Huawei Kirin 920 processor running at 1.7Ghz in a big.LITTLE configuration and a micro SD card expansion bay.

The rear camera is a 13 mega-pixel F2.0 and can film 4K video or a 720p HD slow motion at 120FPS.

Pricing for the Huawei Honor 6 has been sitting at around $400 since it launched a few months ago, but now Chinese reseller SPEmall are offering a $15 discount to GizChina readers using the code: gizhonor6.
