Another day closer to the Meizu MX4 launch event and another teaser is delivered on Meizu’s SNS. this time pointing at the audio quality of the new flagship.
Meizu originally started life as a manufacturer of quality MP3 players here in China, and even managed to grab a few international headlines back in the day for their audio devices. Since moving away from audio and becoming a phone maker, Meizu has always reflected on its past by giving it’s phones better than average Audio features.
Take last year’s Meizu MX3 which features a Wolfson audio chip, dedicated audio amplifier and Dirac HD codec. A good set up when compared to what most companies offer as standard. The audio theme is set to continue this year with the MX4 which is teased as getting a big upgrade in the sound department.
We will have to wait until the 2nd September before we know what those upgrades could mean, and if they will be centered around the phone or will also include new Meizu branded earphones too.
