After
Xiaomi's Mi 3 turned out to be a massive success, the more affordable
Xiaomi Redmi 1S is now set to see a
launch in the country. Touted as a competitor to the now-discontinued Motorola Moto G, the
Redmi 1S comes with specifications that are very similar, but better in some aspects. In fact, during our testing of the Redmi 1S, it turned out the smartphone has an amazing camera.
The
launch events for
India are pegged for 25th and 26th of August, for Bangalore and Delhi respectively. According to previous teasers from
Xiaomi, the
Redmi 1S will be priced INR6,999 or $115, and is expected to generate even more interest than the Mi 3. If you're holding out for this one, do check out
