Less-than-a-year old OnePlus has been in the news ever since its inception late last year, for reasons right and wrong. Those that have been able to get their hands on the One however, seem to like the device invariably.
The US$299 OnePlus One has generated interest in all corners of the world. Thanks to the very lucrative price tag, the One is not only a sought-after device in developed markets, but is also in the thick of interest in developing markets like India. In fact, OnePlus heads recently toured India, during which we spoke to them about their India plans.
Malaysia is another market which has seen an exponential rise. A lot of Chinese brands, besides the usual suspects, have eyed a spot in the Malaysian market. OnePlus are now one of them; the company has posted an opening for a General Manager who would be responsible for operations in Malaysia.
Given that OnePlus is hoping to launch the One in India by year-end, Malaysia shouldn’t be too long either.
The question is, is it too late? Flagships have gone from 1 year of reign to almost about 6 months, and we just hope it isn’t the case here.
Do check the opening and its requirements if you think you fit the bill here.
