The next MT6595 smartphone from China to go on sale, the Zopo ZP999, will be available from the 13th October our sources have confirmed.

Sources from Zopo’s online marketing team have confirmed that the Zopo ZP999 will be available from Monday 13th October. Our source did not confirm if this will be a presale or if the phone will be available to buy from the 13th, but did confirm a few things about the new phone.

Gizchina News of the week

Apparently the ZP999 will not have a Sapphire glass display and the use of the word Sapphire in the marketing blurb is related to the glass used on the rear 14 mega-pixel main camera.

Zopo have also confirmed that the first few orders of the Zopo ZP999 will come with a free Zopo branded Bluetooth speaker included in the $419 retail price.

Will you be picking up the Zopo ZP999 at launch or will you be waiting for the next MT6595 phones to launch before making a purchase?

    If this is handled in normal Zopo ways this will be a presale. In the end of december the specifications will be changed to MT6592T after everyone already paid for their pre order. Everyone will have their piece of shit phones mid February.

    I’ll wait for a Jiayu offering if they put the mtk6595 in the S2 frame with LTE 800,1800,2600MHZ, a decent camera and bigger battery I will buy one when it is released.

    Well I’m waiting for 6595 drop in price. It’s the same with 6592, they had huge prices now a 6592 good phone is around $160. I’m patient.

        Well, pretty much as @Stefan said above:
        * I made an ‘order’ to discover then it’ll be a ‘pre-order’
        * ordered a 32GB device, and then got a 16GB device +16GB SD card…
        Not very professional, nor fair…

          I heard many similar stories and will stay clear of them in the future.

    Zopo are a bunch of scammers and I wouldn’t buy anything from them. I
    won their contest one year ago. They first acted as if they would ship
    it and then stopped responding. I wrote over 40 emails to them and no
    progress.

    I tried to write Andy who advertised the contest (thank you) and he also didn’t respond.
