Lenovo A806 Golden Warrior LTE phone now on sale for $179.99

lenovo a806 hero

What costs $180, has on octacore processor and fast LTE data connection? If you answered the Lenovo A806 then you are correct and it’s available outside of China now.

The Lenovo A806 Golden Warrior is possibly the best thought out sub $200 Android smartphone money can buy.

Rather than adding features or gimmicks that we don’t really need, Lenovo have focussed on producing a phone that benefits the user with the best possible features. For example Lenovo could have easily added a full HD display to the Golden Warrior and forgotten about LTE and a decent camera, but instead they’ve kept the most important parts by using 720HD panel.

Gizchina News of the week

In fact using that HD panel and the buying power they have, Lenovo have managed to give the A806 an octacore MT6592 processor, 2GB RAM, 13 mega-pixel main camera, 5 mega-pixel front and 2500mAh battery.

In China the Lenovo A806 can be had for a bargain price, but as always international buyers have to pay a premium, but it is still quite cheap at only $179.99.

I have this phone. Love the Jiayu G4S, but this phone for the specs and price. Unbeatable.

      Is it WCDMA 900/2100 ? I like lenovo’s phone but they’re rarely WCDMA, sadly…

        Hi friend, it supports
        2G: GSM 900/1800/1900MHz
        3G: WCDMA 900/2100MHz
4G: FDD-LTE B1 / B3 (1800/2100MHz) , you can check the sim network frequency, then you will know if you can use 3G or 4G network.

Amazing build quality. Honestly, better than any Samsung or Apple. Even their ROMS have finally sorted out their act.

I know the price is a little better (maybe £20 ($30ish) ) difference but is the performance really better with this?

Camera is bad. But a damn good phone. You can get rid of the Lenovo crap by installing one of the ROMs on needrom.

tested both this and Coolpad F1… even if the Coolpad doesn’t have 4g (but has dual sim support), everything else is better on it! the Lenovo is a decent phone with nice specs, but doesn’t shine on anything unfortunately!
