Huawei’s new flagship, and first camera centric phone to date, the Huawei Honor 6 Plus has turned up at TENAA confirming a dual camera design.
Something strange has happened to me. Over the past few days I’ve been looking at a brand with a new found appreciation and drooling over phones that want to drain my wallet. I’m not talking about OnePlus, Meizu or Vivo, but Huawei!
I’ve looked at the Mate 7 more than once with eyes of lust these past few day, and now I have seen the Huawei Honor 6 Plus, I’m itching to get my hands on one!
As rumours speculated, the Honor 6 Plus does in fact have a dual rear camera set up with dual LED flash arrangement similar to Coolpads latest phone. TENNA database details go on to confirm that those cameras are both 8 mega-pixel, there is a 5.5-inch FHD display and 3GB RAM. The processor is of course one of Huawei’s own Kirin 925 octacores with Mali T628 GPU.

The only detail I’m not to keen on is the price. At a rumoured 3299 Yuan, that places the Huawei Honor 6 Plus at 800 Yuan more than the Meizu MX4 Pro, and that phone has a 2K display and fingerprint scanner. Still we might be in for a pricing surprise once the phone launches on 16th December.

It doesnt matter you Put 5 cameras on the phone Huawei will still makes rubbish quality pictures. The only good camera phones from CHINA i have experience and got a hold a hand on are Oppo and xiaomi, however meizu mx4 i think have good camera aswell. I have Oneplus one and the camera is no where near as good as OPPO even though its the same sensor.
there’s more than sensor when it comes to a camera. every photographer knows that lenses play a big part, and last but not least is the software / image processing algorithm.
rubbish quality according to whom ?
I read a comparison between Huawei Ascend P7 and all other big brands camera in PhoneArena website .
They said its equally good and almost matching them .
Specially Huawei has the best panorama .
I know Huawei camera are not the best but they are not rubbish .
Maybe they are rubbish but only according to some racists .
How is saying huawei having a rubbish camera racists?! You dumb? I have oppo, oneplus one, xiaomi and huawei honor 6. In my opinion the camera in huawei honor 6 is the worst. Yes I know oppo and one plus have the better sony imx 214 lens however even to compare Samsung gs4 against huawei honor 6 gs4 still have better camera pictures IMO.

You didn’t use Ascend P7 or Ascend Mate 7 .
Honor 6 is a cheap Huawei phone which has a IMX214 sensor but like the rest but not utilised like the flagship ones .
I use Ascend P7 which produces good and vibrant images .
And as much I have heard Mate 7 produces even better pics .
One plus one , find 7 , MI4 are the best phones of those brands where Honor 6 is not huawei’s ultimate flagship . It’s a budget flagship . So, don’t expect same performance .
I have the honor 6 too. Huawei has more real pictures with better details while mi4 and oneplus are all totally saturated fancy pictures with Mi4 having poor details. And Honor 6 uses IMX 214 btw.
Yes Honor 6 is not the best out there ofcourse and no doubt MX4 has great camera with good details, but your claim that Huawei has rubbish camera is rubbish.
