UMi cancels Hammer S treasure hunt and drops the price of the Hammer S

umi hammer s

UMi started an interesting giveaway allowing fans to win codes with various discounts for the UMi Hammer S smartphone. The event now though has been canceled to give everyone a lower price.

The Hammer S treasure hunt was designed so that fans could receive a code then spin the wheel and hopefully get lucky to win a discount code to buy the Hammer S phone. Out of 54,812 entries 4412 people managed to get a discount of $20, 60 fans got a $50 reduction and 20 lucky fans cut the cost of the smartphone by $100.

Although a great number of people took part in the event, many UMi fans felt that the chances of winning a code were too great and UMi received a number of criticism about the event.

Gizchina News of the week

After going through all the comments UMi today have decided to cancel the UMi Hammer Treasure hunt and reduce the retail price of the Hammer S for everyone. Now you no longer need to take part in the even to buy the USB Type C equipped phone at just $129.99.

This means that our UMi Hammer code giveaway is now for a $20 code off $129.99, making the final price only $109.99.
