Subscribing to ‘On-Guard’ will cover your OnePlus from accidental and liquid damage

oneplus 2 review

OnePlus have stated that they sell their phones at near-cost, which is certainly something you can believe for two of the three phones from the company so far have been fairly flagship-level (specs wise) yet cheaper than most competition.

But that means OnePlus have to make their cut from other places. Up until now, it has been their accessories (such as the Silver Bullet earphones, power banks, etc), but it appears now as though there’s a new product to help the company widen their market.

Gizchina News of the week

I’m actually talking aboutĀ On-Guard, a new extended warranty policy issued by OnePlus. The it costsĀ ā‚¬39.99 to get On-Guard for your OnePlus phone, which, for now, has to be the OnePlus X… which means OnePlus One and OnePlus 2 users don’t get the benefit of the On-Guard (for now).

OnePlus will initially offer the On-Guard program in Europe and India, but US and other markets are expected to follow suit.
