Vivo X6 teased to support split screen apps

Vivo have been rolling teasers out for the Vivo X6, a new one today showing the ability to run two apps at once in the same screen.

The Vivo X6 might boast a new multifunction feature in its version of Funtouch (Vivo’s own Android ROM). The function was teased today in a GIF released by the company and shows the ability to split a screen to reply to a message while watching videos.

The GIF also shows a new notification type that actually flashes the icon of the app that is sending the notification in the top right hand side of the display.

Both of these features would actually be extremely useful in real world usage and it makes a change to see a Chinese phone maker showing of software features for it’s latest phones rather than concentrating on just the hardware side.

The Vivo X6 has also been teased to offer a fingerprint scanner that allows for secure payments and 4GB RAM.

What do you think of Vivo’s split screen function? is this a feature you want to see all Funtouch ROMS get upgraded too? Would you like to see a similar feature released on other phones?

Flyme 5 allows you to do this for some apps. Takes time to get used to but can be handy.

ZTE’s MiFavor UI also allow the same.
