Doogee Y300 will launch with Android 6 before 2016

Doogee will launch a budget phone by the end of this year sporting Android 6 out of the box. Here are details of the Doogee Y300.

Doogee are hoping to be the first Chinese phone maker to release a phone with stock Android 6 out of the box. The phone maker claims that their budget Y300 phone will ship with Android Marshmallow at the end of the year.

The Doogee Y300 will measure 6mm thick with similar 5-inch in cell display to the iPhone 5 and a 2.5D curve to it. It has not been revealed which processor the Doogee Y300 will use but the company has revealed that the phone will get 2GB RAM, 32GB memory, Sony IMX219 rear camera and 2200mAh battery. An independent sound chamber design to the speaker also promises enhanced audio.

So will Doogee keep to their promise and have the Y300 on sale before the end of the year? It’s not long to wait and see.
