MT6735-powered Gionee Pioneer P5W costs $95/6499 INR


Gionee have launched yet another entry-level to lower mid-range phone in the new Pioneer P5W.

Like many other phones in this range, the phone comes with the cost- and power-efficient 1.3GHz MediaTek MT6735 quad-core processor.

  • 2 mega-pixel front facing camera

  • DTS speakers

The Pioneer P5W is available in Black, White, Blue, Red and Yellow variants for the aforementioned asking price of 6499 INR ($95) in India.

Gionee have a stronghold in many tier-II and tier-II regions in India where offline markets still rule. This new addition should give buyers another option to choose from, if nothing else.

    The pricing of this phone is typical of Gionee..over priced by 25%. .there are better options available in Indian market at this price.

    Should be at least 2GB of RAM, better budget options available.
