Watch: Helio P10-powered Elephone M3 demoed on video

Elephone continue their march towards being a recognised brand beyond just the niche of customers they’ve catered to in the past with the release of the Elephone M3.

The device is powered by the same Helio P10 that powers the P9000 from the same company.

The M3 however gets a completely different ‘business-like’ look. The company also talk about Android 6.0 that the phone will get an update too in the future.

Elephone M3 Specifications

While the MediaTek MT6755 Helio P10 remains constant across all models, the M3 will get a couple spec sets including one with 2GB RAM/16GB ROM and another with 3GB RAM/32GB ROM.

A highlight of the phone will be the rear camera, which will be a 21 mega-pixel (Sony IMX 230) sensor. The 2GB RAM version, however, will get a 13 mega-pixel sensor. Both models will feature an 8 mega-pixel front-facing camera, and a 3000mAh battery inside the full-metal body.

There’s no word on pricing and/or availability as yet. There is, however, a video of the device which you can take a look at right below.

Back panel doesn’t appear to fit right when its face down on the table from the top of the phone

I hate the colour and finish

And although it’s a big improvement, the black borders to seem to be creeping back in somewhat…

But hey, if it’s your thing then ignore me lol

Actually all white phones or not dark ones have a black bezel.Xiaomi..apple…Samsung..meizu

Latest huawei too, but they’re actually thin! I assume a little bezel is needed on metal phones in order to isolate the digitalizer and prevent it from going mad touching directly the metal borders… But the difference between “putting a small bezel for electric isolation” and “putting fat ass black borders to pretend small bezels on a shut down screen” is huge! ?

elephone is a flawless company their devices are masterpieces, how can they be so amazing in everything they do, their phone always last long with no hardware issues, perfect software, camera quality, never having big black borders, delivering their models when promised, everybody on gizchina knows this 🙂

Is that irony? I have read their devices were not good, like P7000 or was it P6000?

          What do you think? ?

PS: it was both p6000 and p7000, and everything that came before, but while the p6000 was a cheap phone with a reasonable amount of issues for the price, the p7000 was a total disappointment being it called “flagship” with 6 months of teasers building up the hype and than keeping not once of all the promises…

someon just tell them to sort out the engineers who are responsible for the camera/optics part of their phones … since that where they are so severely lacking. its like a Pro team making amateurish mistakes !

all their devices hold promise but they go stale after childish mistakes and poor software support. i believe they’ll learn their lesson like Ulefone did … with the software portion at least.
Hardware assembly is the building block of any top brand and they NEED to get it right if they want to be taken as a top brand !

Have to agree about the colour. It’s terrible for a ‘business’ type phone.

Elephone is poor man’s htc who can’t get camera right expect htc is a better company. Software and support is important “elephone” if you want to be taken seriously.

HTC is better than Elephone but they are terribly overpriced for what they offer.

I only laugh at the gullible ones that get carried away with Elephone paper spec.

      The problem is people only look at the specs. They suspend all reality when it comes to the Elephone brand name and get so excited by the specs;
