Is there any real difference between Hydrogen and Oxygen or is it just the language? Oxygen wasnt bad on the OP2 I tested out, not my favorite rom but it never got in the way which is a good thing.

There is a difference between these ROMs. You can see the UI is way different, but it seems as well that there are changes in the ROM. The Chinese version seems to be better ballanced overall ROM.

I personaly don’t like Oxygen OS and coming from Vivo Xshot, Hydrogen OS is more what I’m used to at Funtouch OS. So I would say there is a difference and Hydrogen OS is, based on my and other user opinions, better.

I am not a huge fan of stock Android, it’s too boring for me. I prefer MIUI and Flyme type ROM’s. Might have to get ahold of a Hyrdogen phone and test it out.

Well, you should, even though you might be dissapointed. MIUI, Funtouch, or even Flyme are better looking with more features (but that can vary from person to person, right)

It’s an interesting user experience as it’s something a bit different, but still far from perfect.

hydrogen=heavily modified rom for chinese market with no app drawer, similar to miui/flyme
oxygen=like stock android but with added features.
