Huawei Honor V8 Pricing & Conclusion

The Honor V8 is priced as follows in China:

  • 1080p screen/4GB RAM/32GB/Kirin 950: 2299 Yuan ($352)
  • 1080p screen/4GB RAM/32GB/Kirin 950 (plus better network support): 2499 Yuan ($383)
  • 1440p screen/4GB RAM/64GB/Kirin 955: 2799 Yuan ($429)

Quite clearly, the Honor V8 is an attempt by the Honor sub-brand to breach the high-end market in China. A few other high-end flagships, including the OnePlus 3 are yet to show up, so stay tuned.

The Honor brand was meant for international sales so I would be highly surprised if they don’t launch one.

I like this phone a lot, i mean the full spec’ed one at 2K and 4gbRam. Form the price I would only wish for a bigger battery … Great value I will say again: gr8 value.

This will make do for that OP3 to better be something really good or else. The same goes for all others…

I will gladly pay a premium only for an ELIFE E9 if it ever comes through being. Hopefully a real update on the E8… Just out of reliability and quality build.

I mean the non-yet-existing Gionee Elife E9, and I don’t know. This just me on positive thinking.

What exactly is ‘plus better network support’?

In China there are three different network operators, all of them use totally different networks,
China Mobile- Network technology developed by China
      China Unicom- International standard
      China Telecom- CDMA

Phones supporting all the above network is called better network support..
