Vivo X7 and X7 Plus launching on June 30

vivo x7

Vivo have revealed that they will launch 2 new Vivo X7 phones at the end of this month along with a few spec details.

In the run up to the Vivo X7 launch, vivo have already teased that the phone will be focussed on taking selfies and will include a front facing 16 mega-pixel camera along with a dedicated front flash, but now more details have emerged.

Vivo have now confirmed that the X7 will also receive a Snapdragon 652 chipset, and 4GB RAM plus 64GB internal memory.

The new phone will feature a similar metal design to the Vivo X6, however the fingerprint scanner has now been repositioned on to the chin of the phone under an oval button (similar to the OnePlus 3).

Additional details are expected to be revealed in the coming days, but we expect a 16 mega-pixel rear camera, NFC and fast charging to be part of the X7 package too.

Hopefully this will be a cheaper sub brand like the honor and nubia are for Huawei and ZTE.

They already have OnePlus for that.
The teaser looks like a thin metal Vivo/Oppo style aimed at people that buy shiny things.

Nubia really isn’t a “cheaper” sib brand, it’s more about “premium”… And while I can’t really imagine a vivo/oppo sub brand with a price more premium than this, we already know that they already have oneplus as a “budget friendly-ish” international sub brand…
Moreover, the name is clearly aimed for asian markets (while said oneplus was more western-friendly as a name), so I guess it will really be some kind of budget brand with budget phones aimed at some asian markets only

Nubia was a solid value brand but ZTE changed strategy last year, gave up on volumes for profits.

Yeah, I should have wrote “isn’t a cheaper sub brand anymore”

Wish they would hurry up and release the screen size already.

You can assume it’s a minor update over x6s so likely 5.2 and 5.7inch.
Outside of the home button, they even keep the same looks as the x6.

I know Balco is over the metal coloured phones but frankly I am over these Pink and Gold/Pink coloured phones. Would it kill them to release a nice black unit, FFS!
