Three Elephone S7 versions confirmed

And here we go. Elephone S7 is going out into the world soon and today we got the expected confirmation, that there will be three versions differentiated with RAM and storage capacities.

Lowest version will offer 2 GB RAM and 16 GB of storage, middle one 3 GB RAM and 32 GB of storage while the highest one will sport 4 GB and 64 GB of storage. We have two clear cut pictures depicting all the Elephone S7 specifications, but can’t hurt summing it up.

Has elephone ever made any praiseworthy competitive product?

    • MaxPower
      September 1, 2016

It’s usually competitive on paper when they announce it. By the time it’s actually on sale it’s already obsolete.

        Exactly, that’s so ”elephone style”

    • MattD
      September 1, 2016

“praiseworthy” it’s a word that automatically disappear from the dictionary when elephone is around, but users say p8000 and m2 were overall ok-ish, at least at that price point… Still it’s an hit and miss with them…

      • mf1gt3r
        September 2, 2016

My M2’s battery needed replacement just after two months of use. Cause it died. My P8000 did same after 4 months.

          September 2, 2016

At my ECOO E04 Plus (the company belongs to Elephone) my battery died in 15 months! But the phone has problems from the 1st month (broken vibration, broken SIM 1, many software bugs, the phone gets very hot and much more)! Can I feel lucky? =P

        • MattD
          September 2, 2016

If you want a product that can last at least 1 year, you just don’t go for elephone ?
Their quality control is completely unexistent! Still, there are people currently happy with them without those kind of problems… As I said, hit and miss! Surely buying one of their products is more of a bet than an actual purchase!

However, what I meant before (in case something got lost in translation) was that those 2 models, between all of the models launched, were the ones having less issues out of the box… May Gwin forgive me if I sounded like “those two are good, solid, reliable and long-lasting phones” ?

I heard previously that it would have 2600 mAh battery, good to see there would be more juice on this one.

Use a 625/652, have good build quality and stock rom and I would buy it for the design

  6. Girolamo
    September 1, 2016

2 Gb of RAM could be ok, but 16 Gb of ROM i think that isn’t enough!!
The better solution is the second for me!

    September 1, 2016

No, there should be 2 models, 1 is 3 GB with 32 GB on board, and another one is 4 GB with 64 GB. The lower version is totally useless. who will but a 2GB & 16GB variant at this time?? Time is changing.

I’m just trying to save some people from making that mistake. Companies like Elephone and UMI, are absolutely crap. Of course, everyone can buy whatever they like, but I warned them…

Yeah, I’m a 24 years old kid… But at least, I’m not an Elefraud employee, who wants some more comments to get paid or get a discount on a (broken) Elefraud phone… =)

            • Radz Rastas

Again with the employee bullshit hahaha , keep up the good work kid!

        • NextHype
          September 2, 2016

Some are doing it for fun (as I am), some are deceived consumers who hold a grudge against Elefraud (as Mitsos) for some good reasons.

Plus there are Elephone employees posting on a regular basis on GC.com (as Radz Rastas)…

Best ingredients for a flamewar xD

          • Radz Rastas
            September 2, 2016

Wow an Ele employee , are you sure about that – I guess any satisfied ELE customers must automatically be labeled as ELE employees in your eyes huh!

            • NextHype
              September 2, 2016

You only add positive comments to every article you find on Elefraud products on GC.com, but you never comment articles on products from other brands. A satisfied customer would give his opinion on other products as well, because he may be curious or for the fun of it.

That lefts us with 2 choices :

1 – You’re a monomaniac fanboy repping his favorite brand on his free time while not giving a shit about other products

              2- You’re an employee

IMHO first choice isn’t credible because chinese phones market is constantly moving and it’s really hard to be a total fanboy of any brand, and mostly because Elefraud marketing is based on deception and any consumer should be living a serious denial of reality to support this brand with this kind of implication after having bought any of their products.

It’s not that he thinks too much, it’s you who think too little. I didn’t even need to contemplate to know that you’re faking. kinda obvious, like daylight robbery. Since you’re “real” why not share us your socia media acc or whatever. let’s see just real you are. haha.

          September 3, 2016

nope! the phone is called the “elephone s7” that is perfectly legal no phone is the world has that name, plus elephone is too small a company to even bother suing lawyer fees etc better to leave them alone

    • NextHype
      September 2, 2016

Yeah for sure. Celebrities buy Elefraud products. But local celebrities. Like in “Mr Wang the best butcher of East Nanjing road” or “Miss Lo the best whore of the Bund”.

They never try to be a better company…

  19. Mark
    September 2, 2016

Unfortunately elephone, umi, ulefone, etc. excel in producing beautiful renders, just not phones that match those renders physically and optically. Not to mention the software experience

    • Radz Rastas
      September 2, 2016

Guessing you didn’t watch the video of the S7 actual back covers on here a couple of days ago huh …….. kinda makes these renders look like puke!
But hey I agree alot of phones never live up to their renders – but this is the wrong phone to try that argument with.

      • PhoneFix
        September 2, 2016

aru sure it was elephone where their usual logo on the back bottom wasn’t there ?

    • Assefa Hanson
      September 2, 2016

You sure abouy ulefone? Overall the software experience seems to be above the likes of the others you’ve mentioned and the fact that you put “etc” makes you sound less credible like it’s just pure generalization, I don’t like elephone but their s3 was bezel-less like in renders the same for the ulefone future

Going off the elephone s3 and the previous video showing the back of the elephone s7 there is an extremely high chance it will match the renders

And did ulefone has been updating to newer os versions so at the very least the software experience isn’t that bad

    September 2, 2016
