Word has arrived from the Elephone factories that the P9000 is prepping to get a major OTA update. The update will bring Android 7.9 Nougat to the phone.
According to the company, the P9000 will receive the update to Android 7.0 Nougat by mid-November. What this means is that there’s just about a month to go for that!
The P9000 was launched as a flagship phone with a focus on design. The update is said to bring features such as split-screen multitasking, quick replies for notification messages, etc to the phone. If you want see demo video about Android Nougat on Elephone P9000, you can look here:

There’s also a giveaway that the factory is holding. You can head over to their Twitter to learn more. The P9000 is a phone that comes with a 5.5-inch display, a MediaTek MT6755 Helio P10 SoC, 4GB RAM, a 13 mega-pixel camera, etc. Currently, it ships with Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
There are a few X10 phones with Marshmallow, like the LeEco phones, and some Meizu ones, too!
If it really gets the update, it will be just a Beta version, full of bugs…

When Elephone promised something, expect nothing.
Is a good news, but is an old news…
Yeah you are right. Elephone promised 7.9 on their P9000 20 years ago. Funny enough it was also next month update.
