The latest UMI model UMI Plus is a solid midrange piece with a Helio P10 processor, 4 GB RAM, 32 GB of storage, aluminum-magnesium full metal body and 2.5D glass on the display. The company is pretty confident about its quality and wants to promote it even more, this time pointing out the benefits of the camera.
UMI Plus uses a 13 Mpix Samsung sensor and the built-in new generation of PDAF focusing should bring even faster focusing and less blurriness on the pictures. Another very important new feature is the “Pro Photo” mode with full manual controls available for changing ISO, exposure speed, EV, saturation, contrast, brightness, focal point and white balance. But of course for those less proficient you can just stick to Auto and forget about anything, maybe just toy around with stuff like panorama or PIP, which are also present.
The following video shows the UMI Plus camera in action, both during the day and night in low light settings. So check it out to get some idea about the camera performance and capabilities.
