Meizu launching new EP2X earphones

Seems like it’s time for Meizu to take a break from releasing waves of new and new smartphone models and for once  get back to their audio roots and release a new product for that. Just like the coming Meizu EP2X earphones, which should be fighting not just with the usual Meizu quality and design, but also with very affordable 129 yuan ($19) price.

Even with the low price Meizu EP2X should have some high-end stylish design with abundant curves and ridge line design. The sound quality should bring some minor upgrade over the previous EP-21HD ones and Meizu are not afraid to go head-to-head with Apple EarPods too. So what can the earphones offer ?

Gizchina News of the week

For starters unique streamlined design for better wearing comfort thanks to special ridge line and streamlined tail pipe so it should fit the ear much better. Then some nifty acoustic design with speaker diaphragms made of micro bio paper fiber from Japan or enhanced NdFeB magnet coil, dual rear chamber design and tri-band equalization for booming bass and clear tremble. Meizu EP2X should have an impedance of only 32Ω and sensitivity of 105dB. It should also feature pull and tangle resistant flexible cable containing Kevlar fiber filaments and TPE materials.

With the very low price the new Meizu EP2X earphones can quickly become one of the best entry-level choices on the market and we will keep an eye on them for more information in the next days.
