Surprise surprise! Elephone has another new smartphone waiting to be released on the market and we have the first official details!
Elephone don’t like to have a gap between launches, so while pre sales for their Elephone S7 model are still in full swing the controversial phone maker has begun to tease details of an all new model.
Earlier today Elephone emailed us to reveal that by the end of 2016 the Elephone Z1 smartphone should be available to buy and will feature even higher specs than those we have seen in previous models.
Gizchina News of the week
According to the company the Elephone Z1 will run as much as 6GB RAM, boast 64GB internal memory and come with Android 7.0 straight out of the box. Performance is likely to be pretty strong too as the phone will use the latest 16nm Mediatek Helio P20 processor.
Camera performance has also been mentioned with Elephone promising a good experience. We don’t have the full specs of the camera, but we do know it will be a single camera design and the sensor will be supplied by Samsung.
So there it is! Another new Elephone! Will you wait for this or have you already ordered the Elephone S7?

Elephone is doing a great job in this recent period, very good devices starting from P9000, so the only concerns are that they need to support all models in a decent way.

Of course Elephone emailed you immediately because their marketing website called Gizchina needed to get the info out quickly. Andi, I used to love coming here but it’s clear that things have gone down hill dramatically.
It’s normal for online news, you know, if there is a commercial agreement, both parts have success if news are promptly published. So, non scandal, am i right?
There’s a difference between information and an infomercial. Gizchina has gone overboard with Elephone “news” and it’s glaringly obvious that they are being paid.
Gizchina have a life to live and mouths to feed. Nothing’s wrong with informercial or advertorial.
Anyway, I wonder what happened to the non exploding S7 and R9? Funny Chinese company.

wait, helio P20? l thought it was helio x25
Helio X25 will be available later and P20 will be the medium level SoC in the next 5 months. So i prefer more efficient P20 instead of X20/X25

I haven’t read any news about shipment everywhere it is written as pre-sale. May be they will ship at the end of November.

Now I’m little bit confused. Till my reservation of Blue S7 – 4GB – 64GB variant, I was thinking I will be getting a curved edged samsung Galaxy S7 look alike smartphone at 1/3 of the price, but now I’m thinking I could wait for this one. But there was no hint about this Z1 by that time. 🙁 Let’s see when elephone ships my S7. That would be a good device too I guess. 🙂

Here are the new frontiers of elephone. This Z1 that look promising, and the other, which was not yet mentioned, with the ceramic back and the front in dual edge.
We’ll see if they’ll quickly forget the S7 and R9.

how about S7 shipments, l want to have that phone ASAP
l’d love ceramic design on this model, it’s all great, with f**kin 6GB ram (sick) except the proccesor, the need to join snapdragon family, + samsung lenses are amazing for photos…
