MGCOOL just released a video introduction of the newly launched MGCOOL Band 2. The smart band comes with some features such as wireless sync and sleep tracking. But what else is there? Let’s have a look at their video.
The MGCOOL Band 2 syncs over bluetooth using the 4.0 protocol, so you don’t have to manually connect it to your smartphone or PC to log your stats. This technology is still encased in a relatively small body, which makes it more comfortable and less bothersome, mostly if you’re in the middle of any kind of exercise.
MGCOOL says the Band 2 is more than just a fitness tracker, it can track your sleep time as well. In addition to the ordinary smart band features such as step counting, distance walked and calories burned, which could give you some motivation to do better if you had lack of it.
The Band 2 has a sleek design and it’s made of environmental-friendly materials, it coming in a black color makes it good pretty good for anybody to wear.

The MGCOOL Band 2 also has a waterproof rating of IPX7, that means the band can withstand being underwater up to 1 meter deep for 30 minutes. Thus you can keep it while you’re showering, under the rain or washing your hands, by no means you should go swim with it though, unless you get tired of it.
MGCOOL’s band comes with a 80mAh battery, autonomy is still undisclosed, and can connect to iOS (7.0+) and Android devices (4.0+).
There wouldn’t be a smart band without it’s companion app, of course. MGCOOL’s app logs all the stats and presents them to you in graphs, it also adds features such as remote camera button, music control, incoming call, text, WhatsApp and Facebook notifications.
The MGCOOL Band 2 is currently available at Geekbuying for $19.99. The companion app can be downloaded manually by scanning the QR code or from the Play Store.
