Taiwanese tech company ASUS are teasing what they have planned for CES 2017 and it could mean they are first with the Snapdragon 835!

CES is always a great start to the tech year, and this year is no exception! We’ve already seen that ZTE plan to release a mid-range dual camera phone, Xiaomi could unveil an international version of the Mi Mix, and now ASUS are teasing what they have in store.

From their official Twitter account Asus have teased a Snapdragon related product and it doesn’t take a genius to put together that this could mean the first Snapdragon 835 smartphone on the market!

If this was the case, this would be the second time Asus managed to beat competitors to the punch with the latest Snapdragon chipset. The last time they did this was with the launch of the Asus Zenfone 3 Deluxe which had the current Snapdragon 821 inside.

Qualcom will make 835 official on 6th. So asus cant launch 835 powered device before that, on 4th. It will be a SD821 phone with tango potential.

Classic ASUS. They are horribly slow getting the products to the consumers, and their new pricing strategy its terrible.
