Nokia 6 goes on sale in the Philippines tomorrow

Although it’s not the device everyone wanted, the Nokia 6 has still received a fairly warm reception from consumers. Even when it was only available in China, people still wanted to get in on the Nokia action. Now, its seems there’s a chance for international consumers as the Nokia 6 will go on sale in the Philippines tomorrow.

This is the first market that the Nokia 6 has appeared in after China, and could mean we’ll be seeing the device in other markets soon. Though I have no idea why’d you buy one in another country since the price has been increased by a massive amount. In the Philippines, the Nokia 6 will cost PHP 18,590 which is about $370.

Gizchina News of the week

Simply put, this is ludicrous pricing for a mid-range device, especially in the uber competitive Philippines market. As a result, we can’t imagine the device being successful in any way, shape or form there. If Nokia wants to survive, they’re going to need to rethink their pricing strategy as they aren’t going to succeed on nostalgia alone. Do you agree? Tell us down in the comments section below.

I think once it’s official selling outside of China, this playstore will come naturally.

Nokia, had earned enough by taxing the customers, now Samsung is doing so but you cannot fool the people forever. We are getting a 4g smartphone at the cost of a feature phone. Apple is costly too but people who use Android knows the fun with Android. I won’t take an Apple even free of cost because there are many helping apps free in Android. Google is slowly but steadily looking into the Security issue also. So why costly phone? I will buy 4 phones in 5 years with Rs. 20000/ than buying one for Rs. 20000/-.
