Most of the rugged phones available can offer the IP68 certification, meaning they are waterproof, dustproof and in most cases also shock proof. Based on the description of the certification it should survive under water for 30 minutes submerged in the depth up to 1.5m. But well that’s not enough for the AGM testers and they decided to push the limits for the AGM X1 model a bit more.
So what did they do ? Well taking the phone for a swim has been done many times already so it’s time for something more extreme. So how about freezing the phone in big chunk of ice for over 36 hours ? Yeah that sounds about right…. Check out the following video to see the experiment and the results.

I never seen such kind of smartphones with the ability of Toughness.
I have
bought AGM x1 a month ago the and I have to say that I am very satisfied. The phone is perfect: incredibly durable and surprisingly powerful (I would have never said that, like you) and, a very important thing, that really makes me love this device, is the battery life!! 3 days by using it continuously (working on site the apps istalled by AGM are very useful and the quality photo are really important for the workers etc.). Then the customer service of the company is good despite being halfway around the world (agm is a Chinese firm), in English they told me that my X1 will be updated to Android 7.0.
It’s so solid, not yet in the frozen (because we don’t use the ice in our work hahaha)

OMG… double camera in a rugged, dude xD AMG to me is becaming more and more appealing (does promises strength and performance as a “regular competitive smartphone” … to launch the first rugged dual camera and resistance to everything)
