Xiaomi unveiled a youth wearable yesterday, dubbed Xiaomi Child Wristwatch, aimed specifically towards younger users.

This youth gadget features a 1.44-inch display supporting modular touch interface to meet kid’s nature more, along with water-proof, food-grade silicone straps for maximum safety. They can however be replaced with any type of 18mm straps if you want.
Xiaomi’s Child Wristwatch comes with GPS, WiFi compatibility, it packs a gravity sensor and a 420 mAh battery that can keep it alive for 4 days with average use. A MTK low-powered chip lives inside the wristwatch that helps maintain a very good battery life but also offers impressive performance.
Xioami’s Child Wristwatch focuses on the safety of the children, so it has a “security boundary mode” that informs the parent when (and if) the child leaves the designated area of approval (via GPS). It costs a mere 26$ (179 Yuan) and it is already available in the Chinese market.
