Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X Unboxing, Hands On, First Impressions!

I received the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X as somewhat of a surprise a few days ago and was excited and confused at the same time. I welcome any new Snapdragon 625 phones because of the power sipping 14nm process, but was confused as to why Xiaomi chose to name this phone a Note.

Notes are usually more powerful than plain Redmi devices and the previous Redmi Note 3 Pro came with a Snapdragon 650 series processor. I’m sure many people will see this Snapdragon variant of the Note 4 as a step down (I’m certainly one of those people) but in return you will most likely get some incredible battery life and decent, if not flagship level performance.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X Unboxing

Gizchina News of the week

Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X Hands On

Yup, this phone is almost the exact same as the older Redmi Note 4. The shape is more or less the same, I think the curves on the back might be tighter than the older Redmi Note 4 and we have 2.5D glass on the front as well. its definitely a hefty phone with generous bezels and weight. The body does feel high quality though, similar to my Redmi 4 Prime.

Turning on the phone and its running Android 6.0 Marshmallow with MIUI8.1, and nothing seems amiss at the moment.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X First Impressions

This phone is remarkably similar to both the Redmi 4 Prime and the Redmi Note 4. It seems like Xiaomi took the internals of the Redmi 4 Prime and smushed it into the body of a Redmi Note 4, effectively making it a 5.5” Redmi 4 Prime. The full review will be coming soon.

In the meantime, you can check out the Redmi Note 4X here.

Nice, looking foward to your review! It seens like xiaomi made a redmi note 4 (with its better build quality, and better camera) and gave it the good battery life redmi note 3 pro used to have… curious to see what you think about it!

Seems like it, definitely not a bad phone at all
