Oppo R9s Fresh Green version sold out in under 2 minutes!

Oppo had informed us, but no one expected this outcome: the Oppo R9S Fresh Green variant went for sale on April 1st and it completely sold out in under 2 minutes. No it wasn’t April Fools joke, the Chinese company confirmed it and by the looks of the device, we can understand why.

In case you missed it, this Green Oppo R9s is the second standalone color variant launched by the Chinese company, after the “passion” red colored variant that was launched back in December last year, with similar results in terms of sales.

Specs-wise, the new variant doesn’t bring any changes, meaning it’s also powered by Snapdragon 625 chipset, sports 5.5-inch display, has 4GB/64GB memory configuration, and features 16MP/16MP camera combo. Price is also same: CNY 2,799 (around $400).

Unfortunately we have no info – yet- on when this Fresh Green variant will go on sale again, nor if we will see it in other countries. What do you think? Perhaps Green is the new black?
