With the current unveiling of the Elephone’s roadmap for 2017 we have seen a little bit of a babylonian confusion with several models. For example the renaming of Elephone P25 to Elephone P8 surprised us a bit, because there is already existing Elephone P8 dating back to December 2014…. Messy.
Nonetheless the “new” Elephone P8 looks like a pretty interesting and stacked model coming soon. Surely the Helio P25 processor or 6GB RAM looks appealing, but P8 apparently wants to be a phone for the camera lovers. And not just with the 21 Mpix rear camera, the love is felt also for the selfie cam this time. With the 16 Mpix resolution, Samsung 3P3 sensor and soft flash it can be a fairly powerful selfie machine.

There is still not a real release date or pricing for the Elephone P8, the roadmap has it vaguely thrown somewhere in May and the official website rather doesn’t have it listed at all yet. So we have to wait a little bit more for these small but pretty important details.
