Meizu Pro 7 back shell leaked: Secondary display in tow?

The rumors surrounding the Meizu Pro 7 are getting more and more interesting each passing day. With earlier rumors where its specs were leaked, to the speculations regarding its design, there is not one rumor that has she’d any light on the Pro 7’s actual design or specs.

The latest leak that popped up on Weibo, shows the alleged back shell of the Meizu Pro 7. And it’s different. Different from every other phone currently on the market. The red colored metal back shows a peculiar slot, which we speculate might be a secondary display. If that really is the case, then this would make Meizu one of the few companies to implement a secondary display on the back after Yota’s YotaPhone, which featured a full blown e-ink display on the back.

Also in rumors is the presence of a dual camera setup on the Meizu Pro 7. And the renders support this claim. If these renders are to be believed, the secondary display sure does seem like a good move.

From what the renders show, the front will have a home/fingerprint sensor and the back will sport the secondary display with the dual camera setup. It also features antenna lines mimicking the ones on the iPhone 7. There’s no word as to when we’ll get to see the Pro 7.
