Geotel teams up with online reseller Gearbest to sell the newly launched Geotel Amigo for just $99.99!
As with all industries, smartphone tech gets better and better as time moves on, and this benefits the end user because brands start to add more features while maintaining low prices.
Still, even with this knowledge, itās hard to fathom how some brands can afford to make such high-spec phone at such low prices!
Take the newly announced Geotel Amigo for example. This is a phone that boasts features that would have been groundbreaking on a flagship phone just a year or so ago, yet the RRP of this phone is less than $100!
As a launch introduction, Geotel has teamed up with Gearbest to offer the Amigo for $99.99 rather than the normal price of $139.99, which is also a damn good price for the spec weād like to add.
Geotel has crafted itsā Amigo smartphone with a full metal chassis and 5.2-inch display for easy of handling, comfort and quality. The compact HD display even has a front facing 5 megapixel camera with LED flash above it for low-light selfies.

On the reverse of the Amigo we find a fingerprint scanner neatly mounted into the metal chassis and rear 13 megapixel main camera with PDAF fast autofocus.
MediaTek supplies an octa-core chipset, and along with 3GB RAM that should be more than enough to handle the stock Android 7.0 operating system.
The Amigo also boasts 32GB internal memory and comes in either a black body with matching black face or white face with gold frame. Those of you who really want to standout can even get your hands on a super limited edition red version of the GeotelĀ Amigo, but this red model will not be launched during the Gearbest campaign so keep an eye on the Geotel Facebook and Twitter pages for more details.
The excellent $99.99 price point is available for a limited time only, 19-26th June, after this introductory offer is over the price will rise to $139.99 so be fast.

Yes and the software will be full of bugs and lag because there was hardly any budget for software development. And I wouldn’t be surprised if the microphones and buttons stop working in a few months since again hardly any budget for quality control.
