Samsung Galaxy Note8 gets FCC certification


With its official unveiling to take place on August 23, it was about time we saw the necessary FCC approval of the Galaxy Note8 model, as it was supposed to do of course.

The procedure was successful obviously and after the required testing the device was deemed consumer ready.  There are, of course, piles of technical documentation on the FCC website you can sift through if that’s your thing.

The succesor of the “explosive” Galaxy Note 7 model is expected to retain the design of the Galaxy S8/S8 Plus models, along with the same Snapdragon 835 SoC and other similar features – apart from the S-Pen that it’s exclusive to the “Note” family of course.
