Samsung unveils its bendable U Flex headphones

Samsung announced earlier today a new wireless set of bendable headphones, that are called U Flex, and have the ability to bend by 100 degrees if needed. They have a dedicated Bixby button (if you own a Galaxy S8/S8+ model), but it can activate S Voice in other compatible devices.

The earphones are equipped with two-way speaker units with 11 mm woofers and 8 mm tweeters for “powerful bass, deep mids, and clear highs” – according to the Korean company. We were impressed however by the proprietary Scalable Codec tech, that is available if the connected smartphone runs on Android Nougat 7.0 or above. The Samsung U Flex continuously analyzes interference from Wi-Fi signals and filters it to optimize the audio performance and the Bluetooth connection.

The U Flex headphones have vibration feature for incoming calls/notifications and they can offer up to 10 hours of battery life while being splash resistant for all those super active music fans out there.

They will be available in 3 color variants (Blue, Black, Ivory) at an unknown yet price. What do you think? Would you buy them? Have a look at their promo video before you decide:
