Xiaomi posts first Mi Note 3 and Mi Mix 2 camera samples

Xiaomi just unveiled the Mi Note 3 and Mi Mix 2 models and paid great attention to their imaging features during today’s event. As we have already informed you, both phones have cameras that are based on the Mi 6 camera, but the Note 3 has the full setup while the Mix 2 has only one of the modules.

The Chinese company published earlier the first camera samples from both devices and we have gathered them here, for your pleasure (even though they have been scaled down to 2MP).

Gizchina News of the week

The Mi Note 3 has a dual camera, that features 12MP + 12MP modules and shoots portraits with bokeh. It also promises 2x optical zoom and OIS. Here are its sample photos:

On the other hand, the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 has a single cam, which is the main module of the Mi 6 – it has the same 12MP sensor (IMX386) and OIS, which will improve low-light photography. Compared to the original Mix (which only had EIS), the new one has 1.25µm vs. 1µm pixels.
