The Blackview BV8000 Pro is one of the toughest and best selling rugged phones currently on the market. Given the success of said device, the company is continuously supporting it with new software updates, this time they worked on improving image quality.
Before heading over to the pictures themselves, let’s learn more about the camera hardware that comes with the BV8000 Pro. The handset uses a 16 megapixel rear camera with a Samsung S5K4H8 image sensor and a wide f/2.0 aperture. In addition to that, we also have PDAF autofocus which allow you to snap photos in just 0.1 seconds. The front camera is instead 8 megapixels.
The BV8000 Pro also comes with some neat software features, such as Pro photo mode, Facebeauty mode, video and panorama mode. In Pro photo mode you’re allowed to set some manual settings such as the white balance or the ISO number; this is especially useful in low light conditions.
Meanwhile in good light conditions you can lower the ISO to get clearer photos with less noise, then playing with brightness and exposure settings you can snap overall better images. As far as the front camera goes, there’s no Pro photo mode but you still can get a good selfie out of it, anywhere you are.
