Huawei is the number 1 smartphone maker in China. Moreover, it has surpassed Apple in sales, and now it’s considered to be the second company behind Samsung. Those who are not aware of the strategy this company runs and the innovative smartphones it comes in with may think it’s something accidental. But Huawei has already managed to implement a few important move such as developing its own mobile chip, bringing all the latest trendy features to many devices, improving EMUI software and many more. So there is every chance to keep this position for 2017. Plus, this manufacturer is very careful with the price policy it runs when launching new devices. Look, the eye-catching Mate 10/ Pro are already out, but the company wants to bring the full-screen trend to lower-category devices as well. Today we were informed the company is going to launch the Huawei Honor V10 next month. It’s the next full-screen phone coming to fight in the super mid-range niche.
The closest rivals of Huawei have already announced about their ambitions towards the full-screen mid-range smartphones. Xiaomi will launch the ultra-budget Redmi Note 5 and its sibling, the Redmi Note 5 Plus to come before the end of the year. Oppo has already launched the stylish R11s. The OnePlus 5T is on the way. To confront these models, the company will come with its own army of full-screen phones – Huawei Honor 7X, Maimang 6, Nova 2, and so on. The Huawei Honor V10 is going to be the lighter version of the newly launched Mate 10.
Like its predecessor, the Huawei Honor V9, this phone is something in the middle of mid-range Honor series and high-end P and Mate series. It sports a 5.99-inch 18:9 full-screen supplied by BOE. Many will accuse the company in cooperating with a Chinese display maker. But those have to remember even Apple has been in talks with this company to supply OLED panels for future iPhone. Apart of this, there is also the Kirin 970 chip found on the Mate 10/Pro. It is paired with a 6GB of RAM and 64/128GB of internal memory. The back panel carries a 16+20MP dual-camera. And finally, the Huawei Honor V10 runs on EMUI6.0 based on Android 8.0.
The leaked docs show there are three models codenamed BKL-AL00, BKL-TL00, and BKL-AL20. They are made for different carriers such as Netcom and Mobile. But those docs also reveal the Huawei Honor V10 will support 22.5W fast charge.
Well, the Huawei Honor V10 is going to be officially unveiled at the British conference on December 5. The supposed price tag is 3000 yuan ($452).
