Launch on the way as Redmi Note 5 gets listed on JD.com

The Redmi Note 5 has been listed on JingDong mall hinting towards an imminent launch after weeks of rumours and leaks. The listing does not showcase any phone, rather a hint towards an upcoming launch.

Earlier, the Redmi Note 5 popped up on TENAA under the names, MET7 and MEE7, giving us a look at its design. It is pegged to launch somewhere around the end of this year. Reports say that the Note 5 will sport a full screen display, as is confirmed by the multiple leaks and renders that have been making the rounds as of late.

Gizchina News of the week

The Redmi Note 5 is expected to sport a 6-inch full screen display with a resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels with an aspect ratio of 18:9, thus making it a part of the bezel-less league. Reportedly, the Note 5 will house octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 processor clocked at 2.0GHz coupled with either 3GB or 4GB of RAM and 32GB and 64GB of ROM respectively. The camera modules are expected to be 12MP on the rear and 5MP on the front. The phone will probably come with Android Nougat 7.1 out of the box with MIUI 9 on top with a 4,000mAh battery powering it. Well it could be a really hot cooky if they manage to launch & make it available before shopping season. This is a true & worthy successor of RN3 Pro.
