Amazon India teases a new Galaxy On handset that could be the Galaxy J7 Pro

Amazon India has chosen the next to the last day of 2017 to start teasing another handset to fill in the Galaxy On series. In the past, the Galaxy On was an India exclusive lineup consisting of rebranded Galaxy J models, sold by Amazon.

Considering this, we wonder which device from the Galaxy J series will be turned On (pun intended). And just looking at Amazon India’s words used in the teaser we already have a clue.

Amazon India describes this new Galaxy On handset as a phone of “Superior Performance” bringing a “New Way to Shop”, the latter word obviously hints a smartphone equipped with Samsung Pay.  Considering that the Galaxy J7 Pro is the only smartphone in the series which is “Samsung-Pay-Ready” we believe this is the strongest candidate to be re-branded in a Galaxy On handset.

Camera wise the handset brings a 13MP main rear camera and another 13MP front-facing snapper. Keeping the lights on, there is a 3,600mAh battery.

The new India’s Galaxy On will be announced in the coming weeks being sold exclusively through Amazon’s channel.
