Japanese giant, Sony has already confirmed its February 26 MWC event where it is expected to reveal its next generation of Xperia flagship phones. While the company hasn’t revealed the devices that would be unveiled on February 26th, speculations are that the Xperia XZ2, Xperia XZ2 pro, and Xperia XZ2 compact are among its product lineup for the event. These devices have had their share of leaks, but adding further speculation, the compact size Xperia XZ2 prototype has now been leaked.
The Sony Xperia XZ2 compact alongside the Xperia Z5 is seen in the image below located to the right. It reveals that the device would come with a design that is in a sharp deviation from the now boring blocky slab design associated with Sony phones.
It adopts a curved bottom design. The Xperia XZ2 compact according to Grisha – a commenter on Xperiablog comment section, would drop the 3.5 mm headphone jack and claims the fingerprint sensor has been placed on the devices rear like other Xperia XA2 devices. The leaked image above is said to be a prototype of the upcoming Compact size Xperia XZ2, and might vary slightly from the one Sony would push to the market.
