The Oppo R15 and R15 Dream Mirror are speculated to launch any time in the coming few weeks. Oppo hasn’t revealed the official date, but judging from the growing amount of reports, it is likely that they will soon be revealed. Up until now, the full specifications of the R15 series have eluded us, but the latest report sheds light on the same.
The R15 and R15 Dream Mirror are very similar when it comes to hardware as well as software. Both the phones are going to feature a 6.28-inch AMOLED display that has a 2280 x 1080p resolution. Both the devices will have 6GB of RAM and 128GB of on-board storage and 20MP front snappers. Both the phones will run Android Oreo 8.1 with ColorOS 5.0 on top.
But this is where the similarities end. The R15 will be powered by the MediaTek Helio P60 clocked at 2.0GHz coupled with a dual core AI chip. On the camera front, the R15 will sport a 16MP f/1.7 + 5MP f/2.2 setup on the back. A 3450mAh battery will fuel the phone with support for VOOC fast charging. The display will come with a 2.5D curved glass on top. From the image it can be inferred that the R15 will come in three different variants, Black, Red and White.
On the other hand the Oppo R15 Dream Mirror will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 chipset clocked at 2.2GHz and a single core AI chip. It will sport a dual camera setup of 16MP f/1.7 + 20MP f/1.7 on the back, a 3400mAh battery with VOOC fast charging and 3D glass on top of the display. The R15 Dream Mirror is pictured in two colour variants, Red and Purple. Expect a late March launch.
