VIVO X21 full specs revealed, listed on JD.com for ¥ 9999.00

VIVO X21

The VIVO X21 is no doubt in the works. The device which is expected to debut on March 19 has been subjects of many leaks and renders in the past few days. Just hours to the official unveiling of the device, a new leak has revealed the device full specs, while a retailer from China has also listed the device on its official site for pre-order.

The recent leak says the VIVO X20 successor will come in two similar models: a base VIVO X21 with a rear fingerprint scanner and another variant with the under-display fingerprint scanner. The leak goes further to confirm that the VIVO X21 will pack a 6.28” display FHD+ display with a 19:9 aspect ratio and a notched design. The device will get its processing power from a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor coupled with 6GB of RAM and  128GB of storage, expandable up to 256GB via a MicroSD card slot.

A few other Key info like the camera configuration is not yet in the open, but we do know that the Vivo X21 will boot Android Oreo out of the box. The variant with an in-display fingerprint scanner will hit the stores in Ice Drill Black and Ruby Red, while there will be an additional Aurora white color options.

Though JD always lists unreleased models under ¥9999 (So that nobody buys them before they’re unveiled), I don’t get why Vivo didn’t label this device as Vivo X20 “Notch Edition”. I don’t get what’s upgraded compared to the Vivo X20.
