At its BigOnFlipkart event held recently, Flipkart and Asus did revealed that they will launch a new mid-range smartphone dubbed the Zenfone Max Pro M1 in India exclusively on the e-commerce platform, and while no specs details were given at the time, a few specs details of the upcoming device has surfaced on the web.

Gizchina News of the week

The Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 will carry a 6.0-inch display with an unknown resolution and an 18:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood, the device will be the 14nm Snapdragon 636 chipset, and that will be complemented by up to 6 GB of RAM and up to 64 GB storage with the option for expansion via MicroSD card. The Zenfone Max Pro M1 will come fitted with a 16MP camera on the rear side and a similar 16 MP camera with face unlock above the display.

Rounding off the specs sheet is a rear fingerprint sensor, a “5 magnet” speaker with a dedicated NXP amp, a pure Android Oreo OS, and not forgetting the monstrous 5000mAh which should turn out to be one of its major selling points. As for the OS, we are not immediately sure if the device will be a full-blown Android One or not.

The ASUS Zenfone Max Pro M1 according to Asus will be unveiled and live streamed on Flipkart on April 23rd at exactly 12:30 PM.

What’s ‘monstrous’ about that? It’s only 1000mAH bigger than Huawei or Honor. The Ulefone with 10,000 – that’s monstrous.
