HMD Global was said to be working on a new Nokia X/ Nokia X6, and was even said to be unveiled on April 27, which didn’t pan out. However, if the latest report from China is to be taken for it, then the device might be finally unveiled on May 16.

The report has it that HMD Global at “interactive space” Sanlitun experience store in Beijing has reportedly showcased its new smartphone – the Nokia X / Nokia X6 to the public disclosing the device’s renders but without any specs details. According to the official renders, the device will come with a display bearing the 19:9 aspect ratio, will be the first device from HMD to feature the display notch, but unlike the previous renders, the Nokia branding is in the middle of the bottom bezel.

While the company failed to provide us with specs details, previous murmurs have it that the Nokia X6 / Nokia X will flaunt a 5.8-inch 19:9 FHD+ display with the 19:9 aspect ratio, and will come in two variants – depending on the chipset. A variant is supposed come with a Meditek P60 coupled with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage, while the second could be powered by the SD 636 with 6GB RAM+ 128GB storage.
