ASUS Releases Two New Displays: Ultra-widescreen and High Colour Screens

Taiwanese company, Asus, held a global conference today where it launched a couple of products including a notebook, router, and display products. At the conference, a variety of display products, including the new 32:9 monitor, were shown. Let us take a quick look.

ASUS ProArt PA34V Professional High-Colour Monitor

The PA34A is a widescreen product with a 34-inch 21:9 ratio, WQHD level resolution. The screen is IPS material and the colour gamut coverage reaches 100% sRGB level with a factory pre-tone E<2.1900R curvature. With up to three Thunderbolt 3 interfaces, and ASUS’ exclusive ProArt color correction technology, the color consistency of connected devices can also be guaranteed.

ASUS VY49V Ultra-Widescreen

The ASUS VY49V is a 32:9 ultra-wide aspect ratio monitor with 3840 x 1080 resolution equivalent to two 1080P resolution screens. There is no ROG series of high-profile e-sports on the concept, but it still uses some good features which include a refresh rate of 144Hz, 1ms response time, exclusive GameFast Input Technology, adaptive-Sync (FreeSync), extremely low motion blur and other display technologies.

As a super widescreen display product, Asus VY49V supports PBP function and can simultaneously display images from multiple content sources and switch freely.
