Xiaomi launches Mi Pocket Speaker 2 priced Rs 1,499 in India

Xiaomi has introduced a new portable Bluetooth speaker in India called Mi Pocket Speaker 2. It is priced at Rs 1,499 and is available in two colours, Black and White. The new cylindrical-shaped speaker is designed with a partnership of the renowned German brand Tymphany. Xiaomi says the Mi Pocket Speaker 2 can deliver “perfect bass and treble” because of the fabric net design.

The Mi Pocket Speaker 2 is designed to offer 7 hours of continuous playback on a single charge. It holds a 1,200mAh battery in its guts and has a 5W speaker with 4ohms impedance. Connection with other devices will be via Bluetooth 4.1 and that is enough to encompass many devices. The company advertises a range of 10 meters when connected with Bluetooth and it has buttons to control and power. The power button is hidden and it need s to be pressed for 2 seconds to activate the speaker. Volume is controlled by rotating the top of the speaker.

mi pocket speaker 2In terms of build, the Mi Pocket Speaker 2 is made up of aluminium and an anodized oxide coating and looks solid and premium. The lower part has an LED indicator and the speaker can also take voice calls via a built-in microphone. The speaker can be bought from Xiaomi’s Mi.com portal.

    if it sounds the same as the first version dont bother and buy the original square box speaker . no comparison
